Tom Branigan was born in Milwaukee and raised in Oshkosh, WI. He earned an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He spent the first ten years of his career in Seattle, WA where he managed global communications for Airborne Express. He relocated back to Wisconsin with his family in 2000 and worked at Cramer-Krasselt. He and his wife Sally founded Branigan Communications in 2004. In addition to Branigan Communications, he is also a part-time professor of public relations and communications research at Marquette University. Tom also has a band, Substitute: Tales From The Who, which plays in Milwaukee clubs and festivals. Rich Rovito from 2000 until present have worked as a reporter at The Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee covering manufacturing, labor and transportation,as well as small business. In September 2007, was the only journalist from SE Wisconsin to travel to China to cover Gov. Doyle's 10-day trade mission. Prior to the Business Journal Rich worked as a reporter at CNI Newspapers Inc., a suburban Milwaukee newspaper chain at that time published several community newspapers. Covered municipal government, police and courts, school board and wrote general feature stories. Rich has won numerous writing awards from the Wisconsin Newspaper Association and the Milwaukee Press Club. This year, was part of a four-person reporting team that captured "Best Business Story of the Year" award from the Milwaukee Press Club for a series about water shortage issues in some suburban areas and the impact its having on business and residential development. |
